Is everyone automatically accepted as a member?
If you are over 50 years old you can become a member. There are no other restrictions or requirements. Once your membership fee has been received your one year membership will automatically begin.

How much does membership cost?
We offer a one year membership for $36. This is the fee for the entire year. There are no other costs or add-ons. Your membership fee covers complete access to all areas of the site. Our goal was to have the site work like a club where everyone is a member of equal standing. Other sites have monthly memberships or multi-tiered memberships but we felt that was inappropriate for what we have to offer.

How can I pay for my membership?
How do I know my payment information is safe?
We choose to use PayPal as our payment service. PayPal accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. With all the news about credit card fraud and stolen information we choose to go with a payment service that is known for its integrity. PayPal is an eBay company and has been successfully serving millions of eBay users for years. Any information submitted to PayPal is used solely within their system. We did not receive, nor do we have any access to any account information you submit to PayPal. When you make a payment all we receive is notification from PayPal that a payment has been made and access to the funds which are deposited to our account. We feel this system offers you the maximum protection while giving you the most flexibility in terms of payment options.

What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 7 days of becoming a member. We feel that this is adequate time to use the site and participate in the forums, chat rooms and discussion groups as well as search and contact other members. After 7 days the refund is no longer available. We have tried to price our site significantly below the cost of any other service of its kind on the web. We feel confident that new members will be happy with our site but for those who find that it does not meet their needs we feel that the 7 day refund period should be adequate.

What if I am not looking for romance?
In setting up our site we realized that many people over 50 are looking for friendship and companionship and may not be looking to become romantically involved. We have tried to offer a variety of services that allows our site to be a meeting place where someone can spend time and interact with others without the need for romantic involvement. As such we feel our site is very unique in that it allows a wide range of people with different needs and desires to meet in a secure setting whether or not they are looking for romantic involvement.
